This genuine Walbro K4-WYTA spiral metering diaphragm and gasket upgrade kit issuitable for use with selected Walbro carburettor models including but not limitedto WTE-2, WTE-3, WTE-4, WTE-7, WTE-8, WTE-9, WTE-12, WTE-14, WTE-15, WTE-16,WTE-17, WTE-18, WTE-20, WTE-22, WTEA-1, WTEA-11, WTF-1, WTF-2, WTF-5, WTF-6, WTF-7,WTF-10, WTF-11 and WTF-12. A membrane with a high grade teflon film in the centre and a stainless steel spiraldiaphragm - impervious to the effects of Ethanol and other additives found inmodern fuels.Currently over 500 Walbro diaphragm carburettor model numbers can be upgraded touse the new spiral diaphragm kits.All parts (except the metering lever) are contained in a clever installation sleeveto make assembly quicker and easier (refer to notes below).

Warning - These parts are extremely durable inside the carburettor but fragile tohandle - DO NOT bend or crease the membrane when handling or during assembly! Thestainless steel spiral is more forgiving but care is still required when handlingit. The metering lever must be replaced with the new one supplied, please reuse theold metering lever pin.
Fitting instructions -1. Remove metering cover, old diaphragm and gasket.2. Remove the metering lever and replace with the new one supplied, reusing the oldmetering lever pin.3. Reset the metering lever height using the updated version of the brass "W" gaugepart number OMK500-528 which is included in this spiral diaphragm kit. Theadjustment point on the brass gauge is on the bottom, the indentation you need toset the lever height is below the word "Spiral".4. Install the new gaskets and diaphragm onto the carburettor while still containedinside the installation sleeve (Important - install onto the two metal pins, makingsure that the word "TOP" printed on the installation sleeve is facing up).5. Hold the installation sleeve with one hand and put the metering cover on overthe top to hold it down.6. Install the four screws and start them by just one turn each.7. Then remove the clip off the end and pull the installation sleeve out, thentorque the screws down normally.
When comparing this fitment application information to your carburettor modelplease disregard all letters (A, B, C) and -1 that may be at the end of yourcarburetor model number.
