Genuine BigDog & HUSTLER 54" Cut, Side Discharge Low Lift Bar Blade
Genuine Hustler and BigDog low lift bar blade. Fitted as a production line blade on54" cut side discharge HUSTLER Raptor SD models. Fitted as a service replacementblade on many other models listed below where a low lift blade is required. BladeLift refers to the ability of a blade to provide vacuum to lift grass so that itcan be cut uniformly. More blade lift also contributes to removing debris out ofthe grass, clearing debris out of the deck and throwing the grass further in sidedischarge mode. In some conditions, more blade lift can result in causing debris tobuild up under the deck, while in other conditions, the opposite is true. Blade"Lift" can be measured from the bottom side of the blade to the highest point ofthe blade sail. A Low Lift Blade (L) is adequate for shallow decks and mostconsumer applications and can be used to reduce blowout or deck packing in someconditions. Blade lift for this blade measures 0.79" (20.066 mm).
