The bar blade is useless if grass has one drop off water on it The Standard Bar blade jams up with grass on cover for the belt
The 4 blade kit is a big improvement and throws grass out rear shoot better.
But due to the Shithouse Scag deck design you will need to unclog rear shoot and underside off deck every few minutes if grass is wet this is especially unpleasant if you're cut some dog or cat poo.
Its nothing to do with the 4 blade kit once again the 4 blade cut is beautiful

It appears well made. I haven’t been able to try it as yet. I’m still waiting for the mower, I ordered to put it on.

If you are deciding whether to convert from the bar blade to swing backs. Stop thinking and just do it. The shear different in vacuum is beyond compare. The cut quality with the swing backs is immensely better (not to say it was bad with the bar blade). The swing backs are just what we need in our conditions in Australia to cut low effectively with more air flow and vacuum. Amazing product, highly recommend!
