KAWASAKI COMMERCIAL ENGINE WARRANTY POLICY FOR AUSTRALIAGA Power Equipment Spares warrants to the initial purchaser of each new Kawasakifour-cycle engine that it will repair or replace, free of charge, any engine partsfound to be defective, under normal use and proper maintenance, for a period ofthirty-six (36) months, subject to the following conditions, exclusions,obligations and limitations.If you have questions about warranty coverage, please contact the local Kawasakidealer.1. COVERAGE.a. Any factory-installed engine part found to be defective by Kawasaki within thethirty-six (36) month warranty term shall be repaired or replaced without chargefor parts or labour at any authorized Kawasaki engine dealer located in Australia.b. A Kawasaki part or accessory sold and installed by an authorised Kawasaki EngineDealer, which is found defective in material and/or workmanship, within the three(3) month warranty term, shall be repaired or replaced (at the option of Kawasaki)without charge for the part or accessory, at any authorised Kawasaki Engine Dealerlocated in Australia.2. OWNER’S OBLIGATIONS.The following obligations must be fulfilled by owner to maintain the validity ofthe Kawasaki warranty for Australia:c. Owner must deliver the four-cycle engine to an authorized Kawasaki engine dealerfor inspection, maintenance services and adjustments according to the PeriodicMaintenance Chart for Australia. The inspection, maintenance services andadjustments are to be performed at owner’s expense.d. Owner must present proof of initial retail purchase date to an authorizedKawasaki engine dealer at the time warranty repairs are performed on the four-cycleengine.3. LIMITATIONS.This warranty shall not apply to or include any of the following:e. Repair or replacement required as a result of accident, misuse or neglect, lackof reasonable and proper maintenance, repairs improperly performed or replacementsimproperly installed, use of replacement parts or accessories not conforming toKawasaki specifications which adversely affect performance and/or durability,alterations or modifications not recommended or approved in writing by Kawasaki,and/or wear and deterioration occasioned by the use of the four-cycle engine, theuse of stale or incorrect fuel.f. Routine maintenance services, adjustments, cleaning and/or expendables such asspark plugs, lubricants, oil filters, air filters, and fuel filters.4. LIMITED LIABILITY.g. The liability of Kawasaki under the thirty-six (36) month warranty is limitedsolely to the remedying of defects in factory-installed engine parts by anauthorized Kawasaki engine dealer at its place of business during customarybusiness hours. This warranty does not cover inconvenience or loss of use of thefour-cycle engine or transportation of the four-cycle engine to and from theKawasaki dealer.KAWASAKI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY OTHER EXPENSE, LOSS OR DAMAGE, WHETHER DIRECT,INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OR USEOF OR INABILITY TO USE THE KAWASAKI FOUR CYCLE ENGINE FOR ANY PURPOSE.h.
